Primary Communications Project

Bienvenidos a la pagina-red del Proyecto de Comunicaciones Primarias.

PCP has been improving communications in Central America since 1984. For years we operated as a subset of non-profit organizations. We eventually found that this limited the range of the projects we could tackle. After finishing a 2-year project in Honduras that was sponsored by three different non-profit funds, we received proposals for new work in Guatemala. At that point, it was clear that a unified organization, with the sole function of faciliting communications in developing countries, would be most effective. This led to the creation of PCP in November of 1995.

El Proyecto de Comunicaciones Primarias ya tiene dos ramas:

1. el desarrollo de comunicaciones, usualmente radiodifusión, a veces computación, en solidaridad con los pueblos indíginas y compasinos en Centroamerica.
2. la construción de una emisora nueva de onda corta, con alcance mundial, ubicado en centro Illinois de los EEUU.
