Primary Communications Project

PCP is helping people in developing countries improve the quality of their lives through better communications. Become a co-worker with us and share first-hand in our successes.

Like many new non-profit organizations, PCP has yet to establish a reliable funding base. In order to develop and maintain the mission we have adopted, we need to complete the following tasks:

• Set up a unified approach to developing new projects by spreading the word about PCP in developing areas, visiting prospective sites to determine what resources are available there, and sharing information with other organizations working in the region. • Establish a centralized office, shop, and warehouse facility with sufficient space and better equipment
• Cultivate relations with customs and communications agencies in each country we work in, so that broadcasting licenses are granted, and equipment imported, with a minimum of red tape
• Write grants for PCP projects
• Seek funding for a full-time staff person/engineer to
  coordinate volunteer work, oversee and perform equipment analysis,
  repair and configuration, maintain correspondence and carry out
  whatever administrative functions the board delegates to him or
  her. The person performing these tasks now works for PCP part-
  time.

The Primary Communications Project is a non-profit corporation, registered in the state of Illinois. Contributions to PCP are tax- deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the United tates Internal Revenue Service.
